Further proving that there’s no distinction between “reality” and “reality television,” Jezebel has set up a college fund for “Teen Mom” couple Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra.
Accepting donations via PayPal to help finance Catelynn and Tyler’s college education, Jezebel is working with pro bono professionals to ensure the funds are dispersed responsibly. Donations will be accepted until November 3.
Jezebel believes, “The young couple should be commended for having the wisdom to know that they were unable to give their daughter the kind of life that they wanted for her and the sensitivity to make the kind of sacrifices in order to make sure that she would.”
“As of this morning, the fund has raised about $10,300. I hadn’t anticipated that people would be so generous, but am thrilled about it,” says Tracie Egan Morrissey, senior writer at Jezebel.
